The Renaissance Charter School Announces Public Lottery for Admissions 2026-2027
Jackson Heights, Queens, March 30, 2026 — The Renaissance Charter School, located in Jackson Heights, Queens, is thrilled to announce its upcoming public lottery for admissions for the academic year 2026-2027.
This year, the public lottery for admissions will take place on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The event will be held in a hybrid format, and families may join virtually using the following Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88384425098. Prospective parents and guardians are invited to attend the lottery.
“We’re excited to open our doors to prospective families through this year’s admissions lottery,” said Omar Rafael, Assistant Principal of Operations of The Renaissance Charter School. “We strive to create a learning environment where students feel inspired, supported, and prepared to lead. The lottery process ensures that every family has an equal chance to be part of our community.”
The Renaissance Charter School encourages families interested in applying for admission to attend the public lottery. However, attendance is not mandatory and will not affect their child’s chances of getting a seat. Admission to the school is open to all students in District 30, with open seats being filled in PreK, Kindergarten, 5th, and 9th Grades.
