The Renaissance Charter School (TRCS) and The Renaissance Charter School 2 have been accepted to the Summer Boost NYC program launched by Bloomberg Philanthropies. TRCS and TRCS 2 will receive $214,200 to implement its 2022 summer learning program.
This grant will help fund a summer program for K-8th grade students. “We have planned a robust program to help students who may have been impacted with learning loss due to Covid19, said Peggy Heaney, Director of Development for TRCS. “Teachers will target those students most in need, so that they can start off next year back on track.”
